Meet the team at American Landscape Systems. We have 4 licensed irrigators on staff — our vice president, Joseph T. Angelone, has our longest-held license for irrigation through the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. He received his license in 1998.

Professional Experience
 
Mario Bevilacqua has been in the landscape and irrigation industry for over 33 years. He started and has owned and managed his own company since 1985. 
 
Mario believes that hands-on experience, selection of quality suppliers and vendors, long-lasting business relationships, and strategic marketing lead to consistent growth. This has proven true and over the last 30 years, his company has enjoyed consistent and steady growth. He loves the feeling of stepping back and taking in a project well done by his talented and dedicated group of employees.
 
Personal Data
 
Mario has a passion for all types of classic cars and trucks. A more important passion for Mario and his wife Chanelle is raising their ten-year-old twin girls and also 8-year-old triplet girls. These five girls certainly keep them busy at all times. 
 
The Bevilacquas love to travel and Mario enjoys going to his home country of Italy to bring back ideas for our everyday landscape project implementations. Mario has plans of one day retiring to the Tuscan region and enjoying all that the Italian countryside has to offer.

Professional Experience

Joseph has been a part of the American Landscape Systems team on several occasions. It all began with a summer job gaining experience on a maintenance crew. After college graduation, Angelone started off in the sales industry as a Medical Recruiter for one of the nation's largest recruiting firms. In one year, Joseph was one of the top ten recruiters in a firm with 200+ recruiters. 

The next project with American Landscape Systems began when Joseph was asked to assist in selling new projects and following up on sales leads. Shortly after, Angelone retired from recruiting and came on full time as the Sales and Estimating Manager. Angelone had an immediate impact on the annual revenue of the company and has continued this success since early 1999. 

Currently, Angelone manages all aspects of the company, including, estimating, new business development, billing, project scheduling, contract evaluation and administration, assisting in a / r and a / p, subcontractor evaluation and contracting, management hiring, and general management of day to day operations. Joseph has changed the direction of the company towards large-scale landscape development projects.

Education

Joseph graduated from The Colony High School in 1993 and received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management with a minor in Finance / Accounting in 1997 from the University of Denver. Angelone is also a licensed irrigator in the State of Texas (6959) and has had his license since 1998.

Personal Data

Angelone enjoyed a successful baseball career that lasted throughout his college years of which he was named MVP 2 out of 4 college seasons. Joseph currently resides in Carrollton and is most proud of his 19-year-old son Joseph Michael who is currently attending the Sam Walton School of Business at the University of Arkansas.  He will return as a sophomore after gaining experience with ALS as an unpaid intern!  Angelone is also an avid golfer and enjoys spending time with his son hunting, collecting classic cars, and traveling.

Professional Experience

Joe Davila came to American Landscape Systems in 1992 to head up the maintenance division at that time. He has since used 15 years of management experience to help American Landscape Systems manage and expand its share of the landscape market. 

Joe moved to the installation division in late 1999 and is currently responsible for project management, staffing decisions, layout and management of project installation, and working closely with all aspects of our installations to make sure all needs are met. Prior to joining American, Joe spent more than 12 years in retail management.

Davila graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1984.

Personal Data

Joe and his wife Rachel reside in Lewisville, Texas and are members of St. Monica Catholic Church in Dallas, Texas. The accomplishment they are most proud of is raising their three children Vanessa, Mariah, and Josh. They also have four other members of their family, three Dachshunds (Slinky, Kode, and Oscar) and one very large German Shepherd named Dallas.

Professional Experience
 
Aaron first joined the American Landscape Systems team in June 2008 as a college intern. During this time, he assisted the landscape installation crews for several months before moving into the office to become a project assistant. After graduating from college, Aaron returned to ALS full time in June 2009 as a project estimator. Since coming on full time, Aaron has helped American Landscape continue to establish itself as one of the premiere landscape companies in the DFW metroplex. Along with estimating and new business development, he assists the project teams in all aspects of preconstruction including material buyouts, subcontractor evaluations, and product submittals. Aaron’s background in landscape architecture has brought a unique viewpoint to American Landscape’s estimating department helping bridge the gap commonly found between design and construction.

Aaron graduated from Bishop Lynch High School in Dallas in 2001 then went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from Texas A&M University in May 2009 with an emphasis on urban planning and turf management.
 
Personal Data
 
Aaron briefly dabbled with being a professional golfer during his time at Texas A&M, even leaving school for a couple years to pursue it full time. He now lives East Dallas near White Rock Lake with his wife Ashley, and they welcomed their first child, Chloe, into this world in 2017. While he still has a passion for the game of golf, even entering multiple tournaments a year, his true enjoyment right now is just being a dad. Aaron is also an avid DIY home remodeler and is constantly trying to find projects around the house that he can convince his wife he needs to be working on.
Donnie Wolverton

Project Estimator / Irrigation Department Manager

Professional Experience

Donnie has been in the Irrigation & Landscape Industry for over fourteen years, primarily in the Commercial Irrigation side of the business. He has been involved in Commercial Projects with 20” main lines and many Computer Communication Controlled Systems in most cities around the metroplex. Donnie has attended classes in Manufacture Product Training with two-wire systems, solar powered controllers, and solar power sources producing electricity for conventional controllers. 

Mr. Wolverton is a new member of our team at American Landscape starting his employment on June 9th, 2008. Donnie says he always enjoys working with the latest developments in irrigation and enhancing some of today’s greatest architecture with landscape and other products.

Education

Donnie graduated with High Honors from H. Grady Spruce High School in 1977. He has attended several Community Colleges in the area studying management techniques as well many technical courses. Donnie is a Licensed Irrigator in the State of Texas (8741) and has been since May of 2000.

Personal Data

Donnie enjoys spending quality time with his family. He and his beautiful wife Tina, have four children and six grandchildren. It is always a party at the Wolverton house whether it is swimming in the pool or celebrating the holidays together. Tina and Donnie spend their Christmas Holidays decorating the house and sharing the joy of giving with as many of their friends and family as possible. 

When Tina and Donnie are not with their family, they love to travel and vacation together on various cruise ships to some of the most beautiful places in the world.

Cindy has been with American Landscape Systems since 2015, overseeing all administrative functions in the office as Office Manager. She handles Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Monthly Billings.

Cindy graduated from Creekview High School in 2013.

Cindy has lived in Carrollton, TX for 12 years. She enjoys spending time with her 4-year-old son, Dominic. In her free time, she likes to cheer her son on at his baseball games, spend time with her family, and focus on her fitness goals.

Viviana has 10 years of Accounting experience. She joined the ALS team in 2009, as the administrative assistant. ALS has provided her the opportunity to grow and learn and has worked way up to Controller. Where she is challenged daily and able to learn new things.

Viviana graduated from Paris High School in 2006.
 
Personal Data

Viviana is a small town country girl from Paris, Texas. She relocated to Lewisville, TX in 2009 in search for better opportunities. She enjoys traveling, working out and shopping. On her spare time she loves to spend time with her Family and Friends.
